Round ball lug with screw. Nickel plated, polished. Anchors wooden dowel stick to rim and acts as a bracket shoe for the tailpiece bolt. Lug base diameter is 5/8" where it meets the rim, center of hole for tailpiece bolt is about 1/2" from banjo rim, lug length approx. 13/16".
