Clear sounding 12" openback 5-string banjo, with that wood tone. This Chuck Lee Ovilla has a Dobson-style heel on the two-piece cherry neck. No tone ring, the Renaissance head rests directly on the bent cherry rim, tensioned with a grooved hoop, and 14 brackets. Figured ebony fingerboard has curved "Texas" scoop and offset pearl dot markers. And the black ebony peghead overlay features a pearl crescent moon and star inlays. Chrome hardware includes Waverly tuners, a wire armrest and No Knot tail piece. Hardshell case included. Made in USA. On consignment.
