The private stock spruce top is paired with highly figured maple back, sides, and neck, all finished in a hand-applied varnish sunburst. The bound and purfled ebony peghead features Ellis’s intricate Torch and Wire inlay. Additional premium appointments include a bound and purfled ebony pickguard, adjustable ebony bridge, Waverly 4-on-a-plate tuners, and a gold-engraved tailpiece cover.
