Appalachian (lap) dulcimer in a traditional hourglass shape. Built of all solid mahogany & red cedar with a comfortable 27" scale (Vibrating String Length)and 6-1/2 fret. Folk Roots large body design for full deep tone.

Nut and saddle are cut to allow either the double melody string as shown, or 4 equally spaced strings.
