Gibson A-4 Mandolin (1917)

A fine example of early Gibson craftsmanship, this 1917 A-4 mandolin features a red sunburst finish on a carved spruce top with an oval soundhole. It has an ebony fingerboard and bridge, along with tuners fitted with Handel inlaid ivoroid buttons. Elegant appointments include rope binding and pearl inlay. Plays and sounds great!
