The Story
This square-shoulder dreadnought acoustic features a spruce top with mahogany back and sides in cherry sunburst finish and the classic Hummingbird appointments including the engraved 3-point pickguard and multi-ply body binding. It has a mahogany neck with a bound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and split parallelogram inlays, along with a newer rosewood bridge and non-adjustable saddle. Introduced in 1960 as Gibson’s first square-shouldered dreadnought, the model became one of the company’s most recognizable acoustics. Original hard shell case. Made in USA. On consignment.
