A well-loved post-war Gibson, this 1946 Southern Jumbo carries the classic features of the model, with a sunburst finish on an X-braced Sitka spruce top, mahogany back, sides, and 14-fret neck, and a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with pearl dual parallelogram inlays. A replacement Brazilian rosewood bridge and bridge plate were installed in 1977, and newer vintage-style enclosed tuners have been fitted. Includes a newer hard shell case with blue lining. Built in Kalamazoo, USA. On consignment.
