The Story
This 1941 Gibson Super 400P is a highly appointed pre-war archtop featuring an 18" double-bound body, Venetian cutaway, and classic sunburst finish. Built with a carved Adirondack spruce top and maple back and sides, It delivers in sound with powerful projection and refined response. The 14-fret, three-piece neck retains the elegant "Super '400'" logo on the heel cap. Later service updates include a replacement ebony fingerboard, reproduction pickguard, bridge, and truss rod cover. Original elements such as the gold-plated engraved brass varitone tailpiece, and Kluson Sealfast tuners remain intact. Hard shell case and case cover included. On consignment.
