The Story

A delightful tenor banjo from the late '20s, this TB-1 is made from a 3/4" maple rim, with maple neck, and ebonized pearwood fingerboard. Features include a 1-piece diamond flange, grooved tension hoop, brass hoop tone ring, and single coordinator rod. Equipped with a Presto-style tailpiece, and Grover Simplex friction tuners with plastic buttons. The peghead is adorned with "THE GIBSON" logo, and the fingerboard inlaid with pearl dots. Original hard shell case. Made in Kalamazoo, USA.
