Albert Houdlett & Sons “Royal Parlor Banjo” Openback Banjo (c.1880s)

Albert Houdlett first appeared on the New York banjo making scene in 1865. This banjo is of very good quality and shares a lot of characteristics of other New York-made 19th century banjos. Snazzy engraved nickel silver plate after the 17th fret says “Albert Houdlett’s Royal Parlor Banjo”. Gigbag. Made in USA.
