James Hartel is a well-known builder of early banjo reproductions. This banjo is a replica of Joel W. Sweeney's minstrel banjo circa 1840, and features a Boucher-style 5/16" scalloped maple rim, a maple neck and dowel stick, brass hardware, Pegheds geared tuners and a 12" skin head. Gigbag.
