The Story
The original Kay Company in Chicago went out of business in 1968. In 1973 the brand was revived and some import models became available. This banjo shares build features of similar import banjos of this time period. Eagles on banjos were a very common theme during this time period. Aesthetically it is off the charts. Kind of an interesting import model. With chipboard soft shell case (one broken latch).
