The Story

This model was popularized by Marty Robbins in the 1950's and 60's. Although marketed as a "Junior" model during this time, this Martin body size had been around since the late 19th century. Back then this "5" body size was referred as "Terz" and designed to be tuned up a minor third. They can be played in standard tuning as well. It has an 11-1/4" lower bout, spruce top, mahogany back and sides, 12-fret mahogany neck with a slotted headstock, and ebony fingerboard and bridge. Oversized Lifton brown hard shell case. Made in USA.
