The Story

This 1949 National Chicagoan lap steel features in grey pearloid covering the wood body, and a 29-fret black plastic fretboard with black music note markers and a “G” clef at the first fret. Equipped with a single-coil pickup, one volume and one tone control (pots replaced), and bar bridge. The peghead features the “NATIONAL” trademark shield badge. Fitted with Kluson Deluxe 3-on-a-plate tuning machines with white plastic buttons and a threaded screw-in original high-Z output jack (1/4" cable included). Original tweed hard shell case included (black lining). Made in USA.
