The Story

Rebuilt by the late Mike Ramsey in his Chapel Hill workshop, this Vega Whyte Laydie conversion is made from an original 1926 Vega pot and tone ring, with a reproduction 2-piece maple neck. Equipped with a skin head, notched tension hoop, bracket band, No-Knot tailpiece, and Planetary tuning machines. The fingerboard is scooped at the 17th fret for easy playing. Hardshell case included. Made in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA.
